Presentation
The Flumen canyon is a vertical canyon. It is located in the Jura very close to Saint-Claude. More precisely, in front of the famous "fold" of the Gendarme's Hat. A piece of cliff that gets its name from its geometric similarity to the bicorne hat worn by our gendarmes until 1904. The canyon is very narrow, and it's impossible to see its waterfalls if you don't have your feet in the water while canyoning.
The environment is lush and very wild. This canyon is composed of a multitude of waterfalls that come in quick succession, most of which we will descend by rappel.
There is also a 7-meter jump and a slide. It's a cool canyon to explore in summer during hot weather.
