## Full content
## Presentation
The Malvaux gorge canyon is located in the village of Foncine-le-Bas. It is crossed by the Saine River, which is a
tributary of the Ain.

This canyon is ideal for discovering canyoning with family or even for more athletic people who want to have fun with
friends.

The Malvaux canyon is a wide canyon that allows us to practice with little or a lot of water. This offers us many
possibilities for overcoming obstacles.
It consists mainly of jumps of all heights, all of which can be bypassed. There are also slides, swimming, a beautiful
waterfall, beautiful pools, and a very aquatic siphon passage. All this with the simplest approach and return hike.

It's clearly the most fun and playful canyon in the Jura!

## Formula 1

## Half-day schedule
The instructor will explain how to equip yourself. We will put on neoprene wetsuits, harnesses, helmets, and then we will explain the safety instructions related to canyoning to maximize your enjoyment of the descent.

## Level: **Easy to Athletic**
Due to its versatility, the Malvaux canyon is well-suited for both beginners and more athletic participants.
The difference will be made according to each person's choice to pass the different obstacles as they wish.

Composed of different jumps ranging up to 8m and more, they can all be avoided.
There are no rappel descents in this canyon. The approach hike is 3 minutes and the return walk takes about 15 minutes.

For children, the minimum age is set at 8 years.

## Formula 2

## Daily Schedule
The first part will take place in the Gorges de Languouette canyon. If it's a sunny day, a magnificent rainbow will await us in the midst of the waterfalls.

Regarding the meal, you'll need to bring your own picnic. We'll put the food in waterproof containers.
Once out of the canyon, we'll take time to eat in a dry area.
Bring energy bars like chocolate bars with you. Avoid packaging that might not resist water. Sometimes the waterproof containers may not fully serve their purpose. Salad bowls are a good solution due to their hard plastic or metal packaging.
In canyoning, we rarely get thirsty, so just bring a small bottle of water.
After the lunch break, we'll drive about 3km to reach the second canyon.
The Malvaux canyon is less vertical but very playful and appreciated by everyone for its various passages.

## Level: **Sporty**
The combination of these 2 canyons takes about 6.5 hours in total with a 1.5-hour break, which is why it's classified as a sporty level.
If you're a beginner but athletic and don't have too much fear of heights, this route will suit you perfectly.

The approach and return hikes are practically non-existent. The longest walk is the return from Malvaux canyon: about 15 minutes.

For children, the minimum age is set at 12 years old.
